Turkey and Tornados

Thanksgiving was fun. We all went to Grammy and Grandpa's as usual. Well, most of us went. Jess, Brandi, and the kids didn't make it because they couldn't cross the river that was flowing across the road. It rained so hard and for so long that the roads were a disaster. Jess waited for a while to see if the rain would let up. It finally did, but he was too scared to drive through the water. Ok, it was really bad, so we didn't hate him for deciding to leave.

And check this out... We saw funnel clouds. Dan's mom noticed one starting when we were outside watching the torrential rain fall. It got bigger and bigger and we could see it spinning. That one died away and soon a new one formed. Crazy! So, wow - Thanksgiving was not boring in the least.
