Lily Takes the Plunge

Well, the time came sooner than I expected. I mean, I knew she was a good climber, but this weekend she climbed out of her crib like it was nothing. So, we decided to go ahead and make her crib into a toddler bed.

Her first nap in there didn't go too smoothly. I usually read to her in a chair and then pick her up and she puts her head on my shoulder while I sing to her. Well, I changed it up by reading to her while she was already in her bed. It confused her so she didn't want to sleep, but we just shut the door and she ended up sleeping on her little couch with her stuffed pig.

I expected that night to be horrible. However, she surprised us and slept peacefully all night.

Lily is also doing pretty well on the potty. She's getting kind of into it. Today she found a little flip top Santa candy dish and put it up on another cookie container thing. She said it was a potty and proceeded to sit on it as if it were. She called it her Santa potty.
