Last weekend we went to the County Fair. It was more fun this year because Lily was old enough to participate. She went on a pony ride "all by herself".
She went on the swings "all by herself". This was what she looked like when the attendant put her in the swing. This face was hilarious but also made me think she was going to freak out or throw up. She loved the swings, but barely managed to crack a smile each time the swing came around to where I was standing. I would wave at her and say "hi Lily" and she would try really hard not to show us that she was enjoying the ride.
These fascinating creatures are Alpacas. They were one of the coolest animals I've ever seen. They were almost as tall as me, with big bobble heads, and huge cow eyes set on top of a wobbly spaghetti neck. Their fur was super soft. I wanted one for about two and a half minutes.
