My mom took me on a little birthday shopping trip on Friday. Just us. Lily stayed with daddy. But of course we had to buy her a few things too. Here she is with her new galoshes. She loves them and clomps around the house. She also got new Hello Kitty band aids from Grammy. She puts them on her knees because that's just what she likes to do. Notice the "pig buns", as Brandi calls them.
This is a funny one. Daddy got her ready for storytime at the library last week and Lily wanted to wear her beenie.
Lily and I made some cupcakes just for fun. They turned out pretty weak, but they looked great when Lily was done with them. She ate way too much icing and drank a lot of sprinkles. The sugar high was not pretty.

Lily has also been wanting to go to school, especially when she sees a school bus. She says she wants to go on one and go to school. Hopefully she'll never have to ride the bus, but I'll let her think it's a great thing for now. She wanted me to bring chairs out in the living room so she could pretend to drive a bus. She even had to put on what she called her "school shoes".
